Joe’s ginger

December 14th, 2007

It is always worth devouring soup dumpling @Joe’s Shanghai, especially in a rainy day.
And it was even better that we went to Joe’s ginger today, Joe’s Shanghai’s next-door owned by the same people, cuz we didn’t have to wait at all to be served. I wonder why there’s still a big population difference between the two restaurants. To me, their food tastes as compelling as the original(Maybe they are actually sharing the kitchen with the original. I mean it’s literally next-door. :p), and it’s got better service and of course better seating (not forced to share a big round table with a bunch of unfamiliar strangers). Authenticity still works on people’s mind?
